Just checked with Johann. There is an issue with the 
AbstractBinarySpatialOperator which he is going to fix. In the main time, you 
can work around the problem by adding the two following JAR files on your 
classpath (replace SNAPSHOT by the actual version number you are using if it is 
not the snapshot):

http://maven.geotoolkit.org/org/geotoolkit/geotk-epsg/SNAPSHOT/geotk-epsg-SNAPSHOT.jar
* http://repo2.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/derby/derby/10.6.2.1/derby-10.6.2.1.jar
