A SCSI Scanner program?

Hello everybody,
 
First, I'm sorry if my question isn't  directly about Grass.
 
I want to know if  there is anyone who has a SCSI Scanner program working 
in a UNIX/LINUX plattaform.
 
I'm very interested in work with a Sharp Jx-610 scanner in a SCSI-Linux
plataform and any similar program would be very useful to help me to do this.
