access permissions

GRASS has it's own rule that in order to overwrite or create
new data, you must OWN the mapset. You may read any mapsets
you include in your mapset search path using g.mapsets. These
are extra precautions to enforce the GRASS strategy of not
being able to alter somebody else's data. You can still use
UNIX permissions to deny read permission to your data or to
prevent your data from accidently being overwritten by yourself.
