Thanks Markus!! Now, I am much closer, but I still get these X errors:
/usr/bin/ld: Undefined symbols:
_XKillClient
_XSetCloseDownMode
_XSetRGBColormaps
_XAllocColorCells
_XStoreColors

Does anyone now what header these are defined in?
