Hi Andreas, hi Eric,

this would be great and helpful! The behaviour changed but on KDE desktop
environment the monitor does *not* close when hitting the [x] close button
on monitor window (just nothing happens). However, after invoking another
d.* module, the monitor closes and can be restarted without problems. So
generally it seems to be o.k., but the close "button" is locked.

Using fvwm2 or whatever I expect that the monitor will close immediately. I
can try that at home. Do you have a hint to make monitors on KDE behave like
this?
