Ho visto il tuo sito, sinceri complimenti. E' molto interessante.

Mi presento.

Sono Roberto e scrivo da Roma. Sto lavorando per il GRASS allo sviluppo di
un network-analyser che si integrera' alla parte vettoriale digs, principalmente
concepito per il calcolo del costo dei percorsi.

In realta' ho un'idea piu' ampia di cui il net-analyser e' solo una
componente...
Lavoro in un'azienda allo sviluppo di un system-manager ma di notte
programmo per il mio sistema. Tutti i miei sforzi per trovare persone
all'altezza e disposte a lavorare alla progettazione della mia idea sono
sinora stati vani.

Anch'io sto integrando dei sample cartografici di navigazione in
Postgres.

Prima di vedere il tuo sito ero molto orientato all'utilizzo di
Map Server, ora non sono piu' cosi' sicuro. Map Server nella prossima
versione supportera' l'interfaccia ad OGR, e quindi OGDI. Una mia idea
sarebbe quindi un driver OGDI/PostgreSQL per integrare il mio lavoro
ad altri GIS. E poi chissa'... magari un wrapper CORBA per ulteriori
integrazioni.
Ma non e' tutto.
Ho scelto la strada piu' difficile dei sistemi free-source non per
convenienza ma per.passione e per un certo credo metodologico

Credo che il tuo lavoro verra' favorevolmente accolto nel gruppo GRASS.
