Hello,
im working to a www interface for grass.
It should allow to easily build up and customize a web page which allow
exploration of maps.
It is possible to "bind" several maps in a theme, specifing grafical
attributes for single objects (colors, labels, masks fonts), range of
visibility, and many other things.
Moreover It is possible to link attributes to values in a database ie: i
can choose colors of inhabitated zones using the "population" field from
a table. (actually im supporting postgres and informix).

If you wanna see the result of a working demo try this link (works only
with a recent netscape at the moment) and it is under heavy development.
Im sorry it is in italian... but think its so easy to understand it does
not matter.

www.ambientepi.arti.beniculturali.it:2020/pisa/pisa.html

I plan to make public a decently finished version quite soon, im only
waiting for the entity "regione Toscana" to pay me for the work.

I feel the need of some feedback, advices, critics, whatever, so
if you are interested i can give out details of my work.
There are many questions i would like an answer, expecially if you think
that this piece of code can become a part of Grass.
Thank you for your patience.

				Federico
