[GRASS5] Migration to ITC-Irst, Trento, Italia

Dear developers,
 
things will be changing (a bit) for the future: I have left University of
Hannover and changed to ITC-Irst, Trento, Italy (http://mpa.itc.it). My
contract recently started on August 1st. The MPA group (head is Cesare
Furlanello) develops predictive methods for the analysis of complex data.
Since 1996, they have been working on biostatistical and environmental data,
porting novel Neural and Statistical classifiers and regression models
within Geographical Information Systems (GIS). See the MPA web site for
more details.

The GRASS web site will be migrated from Hannover to ITC-Irst as soon as
possible, I expect the URL change the next week after setting up the new
machine. This leads to a migration of the mailing lists as well, but I don't
expect too much troubles (due to the friendly "mailman"). The Hannover site
will become a mirror site, the other mirrors either copy from Hannover or
from ITC-Irst later (so far they may continue to copy from Hannover).
The new proposed address is http://grass.itc.it

The CVS is not affected as it is run by Intevation GmbH.
 
My new employer wants me to stay busy with GRASS, so expect me
to continuously bother you in future :-)

Please note my new email address, however, the old Hannover address
stays valid.
