grass binary for platform: I compiled the sources myself
grass sources source: no, I got a source code package from the server, 5.0.0.pre2
c compiler name: gcc

Running s.in.shape dumps core for my shapefile on the cygwin platform.
The same operation (identical file, same GRASS release) works fine on
SuSE Linux. I could reproduce the problem with the precompiled cygwin
release.

I tried to run down the problem with gdb, but it refuses to work with
cygwin.

The stackdump file reports a STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION.

s.in.shape -l works, though.
