Folks, A favorable report... I followed Glynn's suggestion and download the April 5 "experimental" snapshot. It compiled with one error and the problems I was having with d.vect, d.zoom and d.what.vect were solved. The error was in v.surf.rst. I grabbed Glynn's new main.c for v.surf.rst from CVS and that compiled without a problem. Roger Miller
