Subject: v.digit does not erase mon on exit

Platform: HP/UX
grass obtained from: Trento Italy site
grass binary for platform: Compiled from Sources
GRASS Version: 5.0.0pre5

Really not a bug, but a small annoyance: When exiting v.digit, the monitor is not cleared, so before displaying any other maps, a d.erase often has to be run. Why not make v.digit clear the mon on exit?

(analogous to letting other commands run v.support autmatically rather than telling the user to do it...)
