Here's a proposition for a grass-doc repository for documentation:

 	/doc		
 	/po
 	/images
 	/tools
 	/src
 		/fr
 		/en
 		/de


The /src/LANG directories would contain the translation files of common doc plus any contributed doc that only exists in the respective language (in a /src/LANG/contrib directory)).
The /doc directory will contain documentation about the documentation and how to write/use it.

So, as an example, Russ's HOWTO (thank you Russ for having been declared volunteer ;-)) would go into /src/en.

Does this look ok. Would it be possible to put it on the Intevation server ?
