[GRASS5] [bug #1823] (grass) can't write to console

Platform: other
grass obtained from: Other (CDROM etc)
grass binary for platform: Compiled from Sources
GRASS Version: 5.0.0

I am running grass 5.0.0 with upgrades from Opensource under OS 10.2.4

When I open with "grass5" and use the tcltk gui, I repeatedly get the following error msg "channel console1 not open for writing"

I can't get any further with opening Locations...

How can I upgrade to grass 5.0.2 and will this solve the problem?
