We could,
but having the first one as 5.3.0 release might be okay,
because it really did not have much testing.

It won't help get people interested in 5.7 much im my eyes.
But that doesn't matter I believe.

We do clear naming for our own sake and our users
and working in a structured way over the long term will
attract more developers.
