g.access should mention why some files are world writable.
All one can find in g.access/description.html is:
   g.access will not modify write access to the current mapset.

$ find $GISDBASE -perm -2 -printf %f\\n|sort -u
.gislock
DEFAULT_WIND
MYNAME
PERMANENT
WIND
nurdsburg
hwy3A.dbf <-- new arrival on the list of open files!
