[GRASS5] [bug #2823] (grass) GRASS has no way to clip points

$ v.overlay atype=line,points ...
Error: value <points> out of range for parameter <atype>
       Legal range: line,area

I see, GRASS has no way to clip points out of a map.
Looking at older versions of v.overlay, we see it perhaps used to.
