[GRASS5] [bug #2831] (grass) database

Subject: database

I have imported a shape file with its database and when I query by atributes 
(in the vector file imported), in the new vector file generated the 
information of the database is not avaiable... I don't know how to keep the 
database in this new shape file..
Can anybody help me?
