[GRASS5] [bug #2503] (grass) nviz starup problem still remains(resolved bug 2471)

Subject: nviz starup problem still remains(resolved bug  2471)

Platform: GNU/Linux/i386
grass obtained from: Trento Italy site
grass binary for platform: Downloaded precompiled Binaries

My platform is Redhat linux 9.0
Using Precomplied binaries grass5.0.3
I followed the procedure as given in " Resolved bug report 2471" but it didnt work.
My error is
