[GRASS5] GRASS releases

Hi developers,

a comment concerning GRASS release frequency (low) and release
planning (roadmap, but..):
Impressive to me is the QGIS project. Have a look at their
release schedule at
  http://wiki.qgis.org/qgiswiki
  -> "Release Schedule"

Up to now (V 0.2) they successfully scheduled and
released following their plan.

Would be cool to transfer that idea back to GRASS
development... Not to offend anyone, but we are
just keeping away the nice features from our users
(ah yes, I am thinking of 5.7 - just taught successfully
another 40h course with 5.7).

Just my 0.02 Euro

PS: The next Linux binary snapshot of 5.3-CVS was
    built well by my cronjob :-)
