Unfortunately I have no idea. Was working recently, some new
changes seem to have broken the 'fakestart' trick for vector
modules (seems still to work for all modules which do not depend
on the vector library).

I tried to debug it today on grass.itc.it (where these pages
are generated) but was unable to understand the problem.
