Subject: ODBC driver is wrong in Mac OS X

Platform: Mac OSX
grass obtained from: Trento Italy site
grass binary for platform: Compiled from Sources
GRASS Version: 20050409

After many test I have discovered that the ODBC driver built in GRASS 6.1.cvs and Grass 6.0 is wrong.
The old Grass 5.4 ODBC driver was OK and it worked.
The output from make is on this file:

There are many warnings... and the result is: ODBC driver wrong.
The message to connect to external db is:
GRASS 6.1.cvs > dbmi: Protocol error

This is a bug for Mac OS X

Is it possible to build odbc driver in Grass with iODBC instead of unixODBC: some external db drivers didn't work with unixODBC but work with iODBC.
