Subject: tcltk error on Mac OSX 10.3.9

Platform: Mac OSX
grass obtained from: CVS
grass binary for platform: Compiled from Sources
GRASS Version: 6.1cvs latest

Invoking some of the sub-menus of the graphical interface (d.m), such as in g.rename, I get the following, tcltk-related error:
(tcltk version: 8.4.6-2, fink installed; x-window system: xorg 6.8.2-23)
