[GRASS5] running grass on macosx

Tom,

Hamish suggested reverting to an earlier version of GRASS.

You can also import the ascii data into another program (excel, open office,
filemaker) and export it as dbf. Then you can use v.in.db to import it.

The thing is, I don¹t know in which versions v.in.ascii is broken and in
which it is OK.

Try the newest one (18 June) and one from the end of May (archived on my
site).
