Subject: Problem with paths to wish84 etc

Platform: WindowsNT/2000/XP
grass binary for platform: Compiled from Sources
GRASS Version: windows native Grass

When installing the native windows binary GRASS version, under xp professional, the path to wish84 is a problem.

Grass.bat currently holds:
set GRass_WISH=wish84 

which causes an error at startup

set PATH=%PATH%;C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.1\bin;
set PATH=%PATH%;C:\mingw\bin;
set GRASS=grass
set GRASS_WISH=wish84.exe

fixes the problem.


This behaviour was first reported & the workaround defined by Dr. Kai Sonder, Nigeria.
