The *perceived* weakness of [py]GTK on the Mac at this time.

Maybe their TODO lags behind their CVS? (like here)

We need to try "Hello, world" in multiple ways or better v.pydigit etc
on the different platforms so we can talk about real data instead of
just continuing speculation.
