[GRASS5] Sites to vector: any good and complete documentation?

Hello,
I am converting an old site module (Grass5) in to a vector one (Grass6) and I am learning a lot of thing by example-codes. Anyway, has anyone a complete and good documentation for cases like mine? I just want to process points, so I don't need to know too much about topology and so on.
