[GRASS5] gis.m does not use whole area

I noticed this behavior as well, but forgot to mention it; you can only
utilize the full canvas by drawing box with the zoom tool.

Or at least that's how I've been getting around it.

when I try to use gis.m for displaying maps, the maps do not use the entire
