grass obtained from: CVS
grass binary for platform: Compiled from Sources
GRASS Version: 2006-05-08

v.out.ascii will always output to stdout if '-o' (output in old format version) is not used. If trying to use 'output=filename' without '-o' it is taken as an error: "Cannot open file [filename]".

This makes it problematic to use v.out.ascii from GUI. I think it should be allowed to use 'output=filename' also without '-o' set.
