Hallo, I have a copy of Art of Unix programing here (Eric S. Raymond)
from 2003 and he writes, that wxWindows does not provide support for C,
where Qt does.

wxWindows should be very well look and feeling on all importand
platforms (Win, Mac, Unix).

I would say, after all I read, that wxWindows should be *the* toolkit,
however, GRASS should be developed in C - but as you know, I do not have
much experience in GUI programing.

Conclusion: what about using python for this task? Thuban is allready
using it and it works. Lot of people are learning python right now
(including me), so there could be, theoreticaly more people able to help
with the development, than people knowing C(++) very well (same for
pyQt)

Any way, good luck by your decision!
