Subject: Error in Grass Installation

grass obtained from: Other (CDROM etc)
grass binary for platform: Compiled from Sources
GRASS Version: grass-6.1.cvs_src_snapshot_2006_05_20

Hi,
   Hemant Here,
   WHile when i Install Grass-6.1 i occurs following error :- 

   ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/grass6 --with-postgres-includes=/usr/local/pgsql/include/ --with-postgres-libs=/usr/local/pgsql/lib  --with-fftw-includes=/usr/local/fftw/include/ --with-fftw-libs=/usr/local/fftw/lib/
   
   make

Errors in:
/root/Desktop/grass-6.1.cvs_src_snapshot_2006_05_20/raster/r.in.gdal

then i have done as follows :-
cd /root/Desktop/grass-6.1.cvs_src_snapshot_2006_05_20/raster/r.in.gdal
make

Then i get following error :-

make: *** [OBJ.i686-pc-linux-gnu/main.o] Error 1
