Platform: other
grass obtained from: Other (CDROM etc)
grass binary for platform: Compiled from Sources
GRASS Version: grass-6.1.cvs_src_snapshot_2006_05_20

   Thanks for reply.
   as per u r replu i tried but same problem occurs when I try to "Make" the file after "Configure"
    I got following problrm.PLz resolve it on priority.

   I configure Grass as follows :-

   ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/grass6
--with-postgres-includes=/usr/local/pgsql/include/
--with-postgres-libs=/usr/local/pgsql/lib--with-fftw-includes=/usr/local/fftw/include/
--with-fftw-libs=/usr/local/fftw/lib/                 
          
   make
   
After "make" following error occur :-

Errors in:
/root/Desktop/grass-6.1.cvs_src_snapshot_2006_05_20/raster/r.in.gdal

Then i do,
cd
/root/Desktop/grass6.1.cvs_src_snapshot_2006_06_20/raster/r.in.gdal
make

Then following error occurs:-

main.c: In function `main':
main.c:163: error: `GDAL_DCAP_CREATE' undeclared
(first use in this function)
main.c:163: error: (Each undeclared identifier is
reported only once
main.c:163: error: for each function it appears in.)
main.c:163: error: too many arguments to function
`GDALGetMetadataItem'
main.c:165: error: `GDAL_DCAP_CREATECOPY' undeclared
(first use in this function)
main.c:165: error: too many arguments to function
`GDALGetMetadataItem'
make: *** [OBJ.i686-pc-linux-gnu/main.o] Error 1


Even i try for Grass6.0 same error occurs

Plz Resolve it on high priroty
