[GRASS-dev] units for output raster derived from v.kernel

I have looked over the man page for v.kernel, but cannot find any
information regarding the units of the values generated by v.kernel.
This might be something worth adding... however:

are the units:
(no. observations) / (cell size of region) ?
(no. observations) / (base unit defined in region) ?


For example, if v.kernel produced a raster with a maximum value of
1x10^-3, and the base unit  defined in my region is a 'meter' it would
make sense to say that the units would be counts / square meter .

Any ideas?


PS: once this is nailed down, it would be a good idea to add it to the man page.
