Hello, 

a classification tree algorithms beside ML and SMAP would be great. 

Some informations can be found here: http://www.aaai.org/AITopics/html/trees.html

but using R tree() or rpart() code might make it easier. 

classification with segmentation algorithms beforehand would be great for GRASS as well. Brief overview which programs use which algorithms: http://www.ipi.uni-hannover.de/html/publikationen/2003/workshop/neubert.pdf
