Initial Comment:
Currently the -s flag (to draw a barscale only, no north arrow) overrides the -l flag to draw a line scale. Kind of odd behavior, maybe, but probably not a bug, just an idiosyncrasy. It was undocumented on the html page, and this patch corrects that.
