Initial Comment:
A tool to link views like the one in OpenEV (look at the end of this manual web-page http://openev.sourceforge.net/app/edittools.html)

Rationale:

It is very useful when comparing 2 datasets of the same geographic location. For instance one needs to compare 2 satellite acquisitions of the same area but of different dates.

Another example is the need to support visual interpretation tasks by linking another view containing ancillary data for the study area. It is useful to have the option to link more than 2 displays.
