Thanks for the update Glynn. Knowing this, I'll try updating from  
trunk soon and see what happens. Another concern I have is that so  
far, William has not been able to compile Cairo on the Mac--though it  
seems like this will happen pretty soon. Do I now need Cairo to run  
the GUI?
