Just looking at r.volume today...the 'data' parameter is a pretty unconventional name for a Grass raster program. Wouldn't a rename to 'input' or 'map' be more in keeping with other raster modules? I didn't want to modify the source in case there was a good reason for it being called 'data'. ~ Eric.
