Yes. IMHO, almost everything done to 7.x should be back-ported to 6.4.

Once I start on full-scale renovation (after the "indent"ing),
back-porting will become impractical. But everything done up to now
has been bug fixes and relatively minor enhancments that should make
it into any future 6.x versions.

Actually, some of that "renovation" (e.g. changes to the build system,
which don't really affect the final product) could be done to 6.4. 
Although that would then make back-porting from 6.4 to 6.3
problematic.
