 This is kind of weird. I just checked in the code I updated and recompiled
 tonight. The spin control works fine on my Mac. It starts at 30 (midway
 between 1 and 60) and easily spins both ways.

 You were right about debugging code in 6.5 and 7. I removed it. It was not
 there in 6.4. Can you update and check this? See if the spin control is
 still stuck? I think I'm using very basic and generic controls here.
