 I'm guessing that your platform implementation of SpinCtrl is not working
 as it is supposed to. Could you 1) find out the version of wxPython you
 have and 2) tell me what platform this is stuck on?

 I'm guessing that some alternate code--perhaps old-style syntax--will
 solve this. The easiest thing will be for me to try an alternative and
 send you a code snippet to insert and try in your binary. It will only be
 2-3 lines.
