[GRASS-dev] no data table on a windows xp box

This seems to be an isolated problem but I wonder if anyone out there  
has run into it.

A student cannot see any attribute data in the datamanager module of  
wxGUI, using Windows XP. She gets an error that the table cannot be  
found regardless of the data set chosen.

Others using the same version of WinGRASS (AFAICT) have no problem on  
XP machines.
