All scripts in GRASS 7 are in Python:
http://svn.osgeo.org/grass/grass/trunk/scripts/
I suppose that much of that also works in latest GRASS 6.

And there is the Wiki page

It would be great to see more "best practice" tips be added in the Wiki.
