 I looked at this again and on Mac it crashes with segmentation fault after
 all allocations are done[[BR]]

 when it tries to find the cell file. This is in 6.4. It runs on linux, no
 problems. [[BR]]
 I am wondering whether the port to grass7 (thanks Soeren, it is greatly
 appreciated) [[BR]]
 could have fixed it for Mac and windows.
