[GRASS-dev] g.transform overwrites POINTS file

Why does g.transform overwrite the POINTS file [1]? This module is not
supposed to modify the POINTS file IIUC. It seems the coordinates of
the control points do not change. Not a serious issue, but if there is
no need to overwrite existing files, better don't do it?
