[GRASS-dev] cairo driver problems

On Fedora 14 with cairo 1.10.0, python 2.7, wxPython 2.8.11, the cairo
driver is not working.

In GRASS 7, it simply does nothing, the display remains white, but the
png driver works. In GRASS 6.5, using the cairo driver freezes the
wxGUI, again, the png driver works. I tried various debug levels, also
for wxGUI, but nothing is printed. cairo-features.h says that all
features are available. lib/cairodriver compiles fine. Any hints on
how to start debugging?
