[GRASS-dev] nviz_cmd in GRASS64 and 65

this is a quick question, probably for Martin:

am I right that the nviz_cmd versions in GRASS64 and GRASS65 have some differences
that will make scripts written for the nviz_cmd in 64 fail in GRASS65 (and other way around)?

in particular,
grass64 wants 3 coordinates for position, eg.: position=0.50,0.9,0.00
while grass65 wants only two and in reverse order?
and there are other differences.

Perhaps the changes should be backported to GRASS64 to avoid issues with scripts that use nviz_cmd
or nviz_cmd should be disabled in 64?

Martin, would it be difficult for nviz_cmd to take the saved nviz state file as input
(or a 3Dview file) for at least some of the parameters ? It would make nviz_cmd
much easier to use, although even without it, nviz_cmd is a great tool for creating 3D animations.

thank you,

Helena
