 Hi, g.message should echo verbatim, but it's parsing the contents of the
 string:

 {{{
 GRASS65> g.message "%.8f"
 0.00000000

 GRASS65> g.message "%.8\f"
 %.8\f
 }}}



 presumably if that is getting parsed/expanded, then other more nasty
 things could be as well.

 tested in grass 640,65svn, and trunk, in WinGrass and Linux.
