 I haven't checked the latest qgis version, but it did work in earlier
 versions of qgis. Also interesting: does r.in.gdal read grass tiff-
 metadata colors, preferably prefering them over regular geotiff
 colortables (for UINT16, import e.g. 5 instead of 65536 rules)?
