I have sorted the problem by reloading the most up to date version of
GRASS, and when I had a notice that I needed a “*.dill” file, I
downloaded this then reloaded the new version of GRASS again. I am not
sure what I did exactly, but it is up and running and letting get on
with the stuff I know about. Again many thanks for all your advice.
