 On Windows,
 {{{
 $GISDBASE/$LOCATION_NAME/$MAPSET/dbf/
 }}}
 should not translate to
 {{{
 /opt/grassdata/nc_spm_08_grass7/dbf/dbf/
 }}}
 because this is not a valid path on Windows.

 Can you post the output of `g.gisenv`?
